“Division Day turn their own sorrow into something worth celebrating.” -PITCHFORK
“They should just call themselves “lovely” and be done with it” -NYLON
“A smooth safari through the highlights of post millennial indie rock, mixing anthemic sing-alongs, pensive confessionals and electronics-damaged pap” -MAGNET

Visitation was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Justin Meldal Johnsen (NIN/Beck/Gnarls Barkley) with whom the guys discussed musical waypoints that included Harvey Milk, David Sylvian, Cocteau Twins and Pink Floyd. “It wasn’t about genre, but it was more about sounds. And he was able to ascertain what about those elements were important to us,” says keyboards/vocals Rohner Segnitz.
