J. MCCOY TO STAR IN “CAUGHT ON TAPE” ALONGSIDE VIVICA A. FOX & CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER
The “Teen Prince Of Hip-Hop” J. McCoy is not only doing major moves in music, the West Coast native is also an aspiring actor that will star alongside Vivica A. Fox and Cedric The Entertainer in the upcoming movie “Caught On Tape”.
“Shooting ‘Caught On Tape’ was incredible! I had seen Vivica Fox and Cedric The Entertainer over the years on TV and movies. When I actually got to stand on the same set with them I couldn’t believe it. Both of them were so cool and nice to me,” says J. McCoy.
“Caught On Tape” centers around a nosy neighbour, jealous fiance, shady maintenance man, UPS driver and a child’s video camera with a heist gone horribly wrong and you’re bound to have some drama. It’s all “Caught On Tape”!
“Vivica played my mom in the movie… She’s real pretty to just like my mom… Cedric was so funny on the set and off the set; he is a super dope dude. He can rap to, he was trying to rap battle me. I took it easy on him though. I look forward to working with both of them again!” McCoy added.
The movie is starring Vivica A. Fox, Cedric The Entertainer, Sticky Fingaz, Bokeem Woodbine, Kel Mitchell, Malik Yoba, Ian Somerhalder, Erik Palladino, Joe Torry, Angie Stone, Keith Robinson, J. McCoy and Johnny Messner. This entire feature film is done in rap with no traditional dialogue!
J. McCoy plays one of the main characters Tommy, the son of Vivica A. Fox and Sticky Fingaz who captures all the action which has gone wrong with his video camera.
