New York, New York (Wednesday, November 4th, 2009) – Ontime Music Group (OMG) and Kurt Gentles are proud to announce the distribution of its CD music operations through Universal Music International. Mr. Gentles, currently serving as chairman of OMG, brings to the table an unparalleled amount of music industry experience as a manager and A&R executive. With over eight years of experience in the music business, Gentles has established himself as one of the most respected, up & coming names in the music industry.
Mr. Gentles began his impressive career in the music industry working with Moxy Entertainment (Drake, Jay Sean, Rhianna), where he worked in Artist Development/A&R. In 2007, during his stint at Moxy, Gentles started Ontime Music, a management firm and label that’s now under the Universal Music International umbrella.
Through his A&R employment at Attack Media Group/EMI Gentles developed the international distribution side of its operations. Recently he has been developing several rock & pop artists about to be released in the first quarter of 2010 under the OMG banner. Initial releases include rock outfit Ordain and pop/urban act Zolo, presently securing major radio in and press in the UK.
Kurt also manages veteran hit maker Mark S. Berry (David Bowie, Duran Duran, Joan Jett) for production and mixing. Mark’s extensive career has delivered 36 Gold and Platinum records on a career spanning 30+ years. Attack Media Group is a Toronto-based privately owned media and entertainment company formed in 1998 by Mark S. Berry (www.markberry.com & www.myspace.com/markberry), and operates under his leadership as Chairman.
