Shaquille O’Neal presents AllStar Comedy Jam LIVE from South Beach review

Shaquille O’Neal has proven to be a one of kind type of star. Think about it, what other Shaq did you know before Shaq? Other than his platinum debut rap album Shaq Diesel, 4 NBA championships, 15 NBA All-Star Game selections, 2 NBA scoring titles, and 3 NBA All-Star Game MVP awards, it’s his off the court antics that have kept us laughing and entertained for years.

The Shaqapotimus returns on the comedy scene with his All-Star Comedy Jam Live from South Beach! After releasing his last all-star comedy jam, with Cedric the Entertainer, he returns with another “King of Comedy” D.L. Hughley as host, and a fresh line up of gut busting comedians such as Arnez J, Melanie Comarcho, Earthquake, and Lavelle Crawford. D.L. Hughley, in one of his best performances ever, brings constant laughter with his old school kid - new school kid segment, Michael Phelps smoking weed, and Jesse Jackson hating on Barack spills. Arnez J brought out his old school bowlegged uncle impression and talks about his brother Ronnie, Melanie Comarcho gives her take on dating in today’s world with her cell phone rules, Earthquake rocks the house with Mr. Lean owning his house, calls from bill collectors and his take on O.J. Simpson’s demise. The best performance came from Lavelle Crawford who proves himself to be a comedy heavyweight stretching spleens with laughter of how the recession affected his cousin’s job at Popeye’s Chicken, his experience in the voter’s booth voting for Obama, and his weird yo-momma joke off versus his own momma.

By far this year’s Shaq All-Star comedy jam from South Beach tops last year’s. He has truly made a series that’s anticipated annually for the all-star season. Shaq may be getting older but his all-star legacy laughs on!
