Urban Rock band, White House Band (Cap City Records) is pleased to announce its participation in the 7th annual A3C Festival, the largest Hip Hop festival in the Southeast. The festival will take place October 6, 7, and 8 2011 at the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA.

This represents a big milestone in the band’s career, as it will be the 3rd festival the band is involved in, with appearances also scheduled for the CMJ 2011 and SXSW 2012.

Founded in  February 2010, and lead by David E Beats, the White House Band has had a phenomenal rise, going from the open mic scene (during Beats’ early days as as a solo act) to co-headlining with household names on the indie/major scene (Das, Racist, Homeboy Sandman, Outasight,Phil Ade, and more).

Beats is a force to be reckoned with on the Rap/Rock scene, leading his own concert series “Rap Rocks”, as well as supervising its growing online platform www.raprocks.net, reporting news in both genres.

“It feels good to be involved in bigger and bigger shows!”, says Beats. “I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with incredible artists and getting to perform in the southeast!”

The White House Band brings its own personal touch to Hip Hop by mixing it with Blues, and Rock.

In a recent interview with the online media outlet Brain of BMW, Chasson Gracie, CEO of Gracie Management, shared a few management tips. Chasson, who brings nearly a decade of strategic marketing experience, discussed his process for creating a strategy for a client; whether or not psychology goes into the marketing process; and he also discussed the myths and misconceptions of marketing.

Excerpt:  {Brain} What advise can you give to an aspiring marketing exec?

[CHASSON]: First, make sure to surround yourself with good, smart people. The biggest mistake an aspiring executive can make is to surround himself/herself with people who are not as well-educated and well-versed, because you will never grow. Second, make sure to keep yourself curious and stimulated by the world. Once you start to lose that creativity, many other things will slip away, too. Third, study those case studies!
