Review By: Jabari Oliver
“Kiss and Tail: The Hollywood Jumpoff” is a daring documentary about Karrine Steffans who’s claim to fame was sleeping with famous hip hop celebrities such as JaRule, Usher, Bill Maher, Lil Wayne, and many many others. Her kinky, concupiscent bedroom antics birthed her pet name as “Superhead” and provided juicy content for her New York Times best selling book “Confessions of a video Vixen.” Read more

LMFAO
Party Rock
will.i.am Music Group / InterscopeBy: Jabari Oliver
Meet LMFAO. They are the first dance electronic group in the history of party to be named after a rated R text chat acronym. LMFAO is made of Stefan Kendal “RedFoo” Gordy and his nephew Skyler “Sky Blu” Gordy (colors included). They keep your party live with their debut album “Party Rock.” They spike the punch, encourage endless drink shots all-day, instigate beer pong, and de-clothe the civil. Netted with co-signs from Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am (being signed to his Will.i.am music group along with Interscope, RedFoo attended school with Will.i.am aka Mr. Yes We Can Obama) and Motown Records founder Berry Gordy (who is RedFoo’s father – true story), they energetically aim to elevate the party with their witty style of music that challenges the form and the norm of dance electronica music mixing it with some vintage hip hop flavor. RedFoo is no stranger to the producer’s corner, he produced Ahmad’s 1994 smash hit “Back in the Day.” One can hear the resemblances in his production today. LMFAO prove to be versatile connoisseurs in their approach to their style of music. In a Vibe interview, RedFoo Hefner claimed, “We can go into an urban area and freestyle in a cipher..or we can go to a club and just dance out. We can talk to an Internet programmer, or we can talk to a crackhead. We are people people. And, um, party people.” Read more

Meet the Stone Mountaineers Mook (The Young Zack Morris), Vee (The Ralph Lauren Mascot), and (Kid) Myko McFly. Together they make up the Def Jam super group the Fast Life Youngstaz, better known as FLY. In their early stages, it was Vee and Myko McFly who were in a rap group called “Die Hard” when they were in High School while Mook was in his own rap group called “Affiliated.” The two groups came together to form two different and more powerful groups called “Band Geakz” and “Fast Life Youngstaz” (FLY). The “FLY” concept comes from the swaggerific notion of being trendsetters with a fast lifestyle, setting tones in the way they dress and approach life’s treasures on a positive note. Their music meshes a sense of feel good music into festival killer party bangers. Read more
